The aim of this website is to help people organise car pooling to the ski fields
this winter
Nothing more, nothing less!
It should be straightforward enough to use, but if not, have a look at the instructions.
That's about it really.... It's not too flash, but hopefully a few people out there will find it useful. Please be nice ;) It is up to the people carpooling to organise how and where they are going to meet etc, and how to split petrol.
My suggestions would be:
- Fill up the tank before you leave, and at the end, split the costs evenly (plus a few bucks for tyre wear and oil ;)
- Don't be late for the arranged meeting time & place
- Bring chocolate to share

Snowpool was built using Open Source tools and technologies.- For version control we used Subversion. Very nice tool that one.

Images were built using GIMP - the GNU Image Manipulation Program
- The server snowpool runs on a Linux Server, using Apache as the webserer, and PHP as the main programming language.
- The Awesome JavaScript library JQuery is used for doing most of the dynamic whajamawhoozits
- And the calendar used is ActiveCalendar
